A very warm welcome to Tall Trees Day Nursery. As the owner, I’m delighted that you’re considering entrusting us with the care and early education of your child.

At Tall Trees, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where they can grow, learn, and flourish. Just like tall trees, we aim to provide strong roots and support, so each child can develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Our passionate and dedicated team is committed to providing high-quality care, tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests. We work closely with families to ensure that every child feels valued and supported throughout their journey with us.

We’re proud of the warm, welcoming atmosphere we’ve created here, and we look forward to getting to know you and your child.

Thank you for being part of the Tall Trees family.

Our  Classes

Marlowe Class

Children are welcomed into Marlowe Class from the age of 10 months. It is a warm, homely environment, with exciting self selected resources. Children are encouraged to be active whilst making use of heuristic play in an enabling environment, allowing them to manipulate objects and explore with a wide variety of different materials.

Each baby receives individual attention with lots of cuddles, smiles and positive communication through words and songs. We nurture babies through a variety of learning opportunities, including learning to crawl and walk, as well as joining in with messy play and other stimulating activities. All babies are provided with garden times and nurture walks, ensuring they receive appropriate opportunities for outdoor play and fresh air.

Willow Class

In Willow Class children are inspired to develop lively, enquiring and imaginative minds, and to build on their social and personal life skills. The focus is on purposeful play that sets the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. The children are stimulated to find learning fun and their achievements are recognised to develop their confidence and self - esteem.

Children are encouraged to learn new words through stories, nursery rhymes, singing songs and musical movements. All children enjoy arts and crafts activities, exploring with a variety of malleable materials. All staff work in partnership with parents to ensure their child is receiving the correct support at home to aid in their learning and development.

Hawthorn Class

In Hawthorn Class the emphasis is on learning through play and having fun! A wide range of activities are available, encouraging the all-around development of each child. The children will have every opportunity to develop skills in the Seven Areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. The environment in this room is relaxed and well structured; allowing children to play, explore and engage in active learning. The children are developing their pre-writing skills through painting, drawing, cutting and sticking, all of which are strengthening their fine motor skills.

Hawthorn Class have their very own mascot. Every child has the opportunity to take this bear for a week in order to participate in a range of activities with him. The children thoroughly enjoy this experience, feeling proud whilst developing their self-confidence.
