Wray Common
A very warm welcome to our brand-new nursery!
My name is Sarah, and I’m delighted to introduce myself as the Nursery Manager. I am looking forward to meeting you and your family. At our nursery, children will have the chance to play, explore, and build wonderful friendships. Each day will be filled with exciting activities, opportunities to discover new skills, and joyful experiences.
Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where children can thrive, develop, and enjoy new experiences. We value strong relationships with both children and families, and I am committed to ensuring each child feels happy, confident, and ready to learn.
It will be a privilege to support your child as they grow, learn, and shine. I can’t wait to begin this journey together.
Ms Sarah Albon, Nursery Manager
Our Classes
Blossom Class
Within Blossom Class constant movement and exploration is how children learn and grow; seeing themselves in relation to their environment while developing coordination of the body and brain. The equipment selected will enable your child to refine their motor skills through a range of actions, such as sliding, bouncing, crawling, and walking! Babies in this room are also exposed to well-planned activities and sensory resources, as they develop naturally through discovery and play. Activities like sand, water, messy play, and treasure baskets are accessible throughout the day.
Maple Class
In Maple Class toe room is fun and set in a stimulating and safe environment where children are supported and encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace. It consists of defined areas which are well resourced and suitable for the age and stage of the children in the room. Activities are planned to meet the individual needs of our children while simple challenges help to develop self-esteem and foster a sense of accomplishment.
The children have a slightly more structured routine to their day whilst learning through a wide range of fun activities and experiences planned for their continued learning and development by all the toddlers’ teachers but particularly their key person who will get to know them really well.
Oak Class
The Oak Classroom is bright and vibrant and provides a busy, friendly environment in which children have the opportunity to form friendships and build on their knowledge and understanding. We provide activities for the children that enable them to develop skills which will be used in later life, namely social and communication skills.
Within Oak Clas the children have a balance of child-initiated and adult-led activities which are intended to promote the children’s learning and prepare them for their Reception year at school.
