Our Classes
Willow Class
The stimulating and open space of the Willow class enables exploration in a variety of areas. The children enjoy `accessing the garden throughout the day, where they can develop their physical skills using the outdoor equipment. We believe that children learn through play and that learning should be fun. Each day the children will enjoy a range of activities designed to be both interesting and appropriate to each child’s needs and abilities, while maintaining flexibility to accommodate spontaneous interest and events. Staff strive to support children’s development by helping them to explore through sharing experiences and emotions.
Rowan Class
The children in Rowan class are prepared for school by developing literacy and numeracy skills and we support them to develop their own independence. This age group continues to enjoy free-flowing throughout the day to both inside and outside the garden. When children leave Rowan Class our goal is for them to have the confidence, independence and self-esteem they need to begin the next stage of their journey.
With our warm, family atmosphere, children settle into our sensitive and nurturing nursery environment as if they have always been part of the Tall Trees Family We celebrate every child’s strengths, encouraging them to follow their interests, to explore, investigate, question and learn.
